Eat Your Heart Out

Sponge and leather
I think-
as I sink my teeth
into your heart.

I do it for the heck of it
Never liked you
or your heart.
I only eat it
to show I can.
No flattery, you see.

There’s a bitterness
seeping through my teeth.
There’s poison
in your blood.
Black blood, tar coal,
thick ink – I choke.

  1. Now that was strong. Those verses concealed meanings that never showed….It was enchanting. A complete master-piece.
